Going to Lake Skaneateles in June to help remodel a relatives recently purchased summer house. I would love to climb at the Gunks while I am in New York. I have never been and need a partner. I've been climbing for 6 years, trad for the last 2. Hardest trad lead @ 5.11-. I would like to get a feel for the area with the "moderate" routes and go from there. I have gear and a positive attitude. Ill be in New York for the duration of June and have a very flexible schedule. Give me a shout if you need a partner.

Thanks,

Kayle

Hey, I'm copying this from a reply to another person:

I just started an internship in New Jersey (Murray Hill), about 1h45m drive to the Gunks. I have been looking for a climbing partner. My hope is to drive to the Gunks or perhaps other close places (don't really know the areas...) every weekend.

I have a full rack, triples on most BD cams, tricams, passive, ballnutz, etc. I similarly climb up to 5.10 trad, will try 5.11 sometimes, happy to do whatever. Also have Gunks guidebooks.

Let me know if you want to plan some trips.

I'm around from now until mid aug.

Hey, this is Andrew again. I'm going to the Gunks this weekend (today and tomorrow), but without a partner.

If anybody wants to meet up, call me at 2one7-6two2-1four93. Hopefully there is phone reception there... Dont worry if you aren't super experienced or strong, as long as you are a safe lead belayer.
