My name is Jason and I am moving to Utah in a few weeks. I am looking for climbing partners. I am 18 and I have been climbing about a year and a half. I have a rack and a rope. I have climbed at the Gunk's and Mt. Lemmon. I lead trad 5.9's and once in a while I will lead a 10 sport. Let me know.

Radical!

Nice to see people I can climb with. I dont have a pad, just a rope and a rack. I take it you have a pad. Where do you climb now? Nope, not ebay, I will be working for an at risk youth wilderness program..

What is your schedule like? Don't those places usually have long periods of work and then strange weekends (like you work 2 weeks and get a week off or something)?

If so (and if I don't leave Utah this summer), I'd be up for some mid-week cragging. I'm always looking for partners in Rock Canyon, Little and Big Cottonwood for that kind of thing during the week. Prefer trad routes.

Okay, so I will be working in a residential setting for the first few months. I am unsure what my hours will be yet. The wilderness programs are 8 days on 6 days off.... But, I wont start that until June or May. I think I will have plenty time for climbing. Prob a lot of midweek stuff

Haha, like I told builttospill - I've got plenty of foam. I'm climbin at the gym at the south end of town, momentum, right now but when the weather dries up, you can find me in LCC pretty much every day of the week.

If you work for 2N you shouldn't have a hard time finding climbing partners among your coworkers. The guy who first taught me to climb worked for 2N. We took advantage of his 6 days off for some sweet climbing trips. Even after he moved away I still climbed with people he'd worked with. None of them work there now but that place is always full of climbers. Have fun!

Hey, I totally work at Life-Line right now. In fact, I'm browsing Mountain Project instead of working, haha. I think I may have been working there when you were there, now that I think about it. Small world.

Anyways, Jason if you want to climb sometime, let me know. I go to Rockreation (one of the local gyms) several times a week, and I'm planning to go outside a bunch when the weather gets better. I climb 5.10-11 sport, 5.9-10 trad.

I'm always down to climb :)

I'd be happy to have a new climbing partner. Can never have to many of them. I lead 12a sport and .9 in trad. Trad and multipitch are mostly what I do though. I climb 15 minutes south of Draper everyday. Let me know if you want to climb.

Awesome. Well, it looks like I will have a lot of people to climb with. I will let you guys know when I get out there... I am working on getting a car, once I do, I will be on my way. I will also send all of you a PM when I am up for climbing.

Update: I will get there by the 25th. I will be living near Liberty Park in Salt Lake.

11 people.... Man, I can climb with someone each day of the week..... I will pm all of you.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
