Thanks, I'm trying to emulate Pete and his big wall camping ethic. I'm planning 3 pitches a day on Grape Race, and two a day on Tribal Rite. I don't want to race up the route at all, in fact, I'm planning on spending a whole day doing noting atop Tribal Rite's 8th pitch. 10 or 11 days total on the route depending if I fix and then blast or just blast. I don't know how many El Cap routes I have left in this life so I'm planning on enjoying them all.

Hey John, Huge thanks for fiddling with this. Unfortunately, I only see about three or four photos resized. What you did on the original Half Dome photo fix was perfect. I have cleared my browser caches and temporary internet files, and reloaded the trip report in both Mozilla Firefox and Internet Explorer, but the problem persists. The easiest way to tell which photos are resized, and which are not, is to run your cursor down the trip report and over top of each photo. When the cursor appears over a photo as a hand with a finger pointed, then the photo is not resized. When the cursor appears as just an arrow, then it's done correctly. It appears only about three or four of the photos are working properly. I think your vote counts a lot more, so the Ranch it shall be.

Pete, All the photos are linked directly to the full size images so they should be showing full size. They are on my machines. Maybe someone else could confirm for us. Cheers John Std Large

John, Did you change anything since my last posting? By running my cursor down the photos, about 2 out of 3 are now fixed. But a bunch still remain. 1) Have you done the cursor trick? Do you see any differences? 2) Have you cleared the cache and temporary internet files in your browser? I wonder if you have some large size images "stuck" in there? Thanks for your help. It is definitely looking better. Cheers.

They all seem fixed to me, Pete. I ran my cursor across all of them and nothing changed.

They all look big to me, except the "gripped magazine" one. Although the portrait orientation is smaller than the landscape. But all seem larger than the original thread.

Great photos and a great tale. That shot of Tom sleeping in his haul-bag with his head dangling on a boulder is mega-classic!
