Do you need some affirmation of your hardman status their little boy? Here you go: you're such a hard climber yes you are....who's a hard climber...good boy. Here's a cookie now go call someone who cares.

Feeling more at home now?

You may be able to get to get to RRG before I can get to the Creek but I can get to the Black, Moab, the Platte, and Eldo before you can get anywhere more than a ropelength off the ground.

What is this, some sort of climbing site? Nobody mentioned getting off the ground!

Ohh...wait, yes I did. Hell I could probably be three pitches up by the time he was even to a crag with more than single pitches. What's Seneca, four hours from Ohio?

I think several good points have been made in favor of both the MP folk and the RC folk. Fact is that people are more receptive to someone that they physically know in real life than to some wandering boob who stumbles across the aforementioned forums.

Other regional forums seem to be structured with a better hierarchy and respectful userbase than the ones that cater to a broad spectrum of climbers (with the exception of ST). I wouldn't call MP an exclusive regional forum any more.

In general, people get treated with respect regardless of where they post at as long as they are respectful and contribute valuable, thoughtful, constructed posts.

Pretty sure that's an oxymoron.

Or perhaps RC folks who don't take themselves too seriously and can enjoy giving and sometimes receiving a good ribbing. So continue proving what i said earlier about being hypocritical with the stereotypes and name calling. Is that pedestal you're on bolted?

I've met Todd, Clausti, Camhead who cover the full range of climbing skill and i'd climb with each of them. I'd also laugh at and with them equally.

In general, MP has more sophisticated users. RC is good for a laugh sometimes though.

Mr CamHair, I would love to take you out on some real rock if you are ever in the Black Hills, please send me a PM. I've had fun in the gym, and don't get me wrong (and I don't want to offend) but, ....if you are seriously into climbing, then you need to get out on some real rock, you won't be disappointed, man there are some really beautiful places out here that so few people ever get to experience!

We'll get you out of the gym yet. Come on MP! Let's get CamHair on some real rock!! Goddamn I love it. In fact, there's LOTS of folks out here that dig the natural setting, AND dig making connections, and I'm sure that you can get a hold of any of them if you want to make some friends and crimp some billion year old crystal. Ok let me know. Feeling for ya buddy. Remember, Ohio is just temporary...
