Dang. I just realized I have another White Elephant party that evening up in Boulder. If I could only figure out how to be in two places at once... So are you guys meeting in Denver or Golden?

May I suggest that if you do decide to meet in Golden, the American Mountaineering Center is having their monthly Thirsty Third Thursday Holiday Party with $1 beer, raffle and live music by Atomic Prado to support the Bradford Washburn Mountaineering Museum. It runs from 5:30 to around 7:30 and is a fun time. They usually have some snacks like cheese and crackers as well.

Hitting some ice after work on Thurs in the Triple C. My vote is for the Spot too.

So I just threw that white elephant idea out there for grins. I'm not very good at planning. Do people really want to do this?

This sounds like fun. I'd like to maybe hit some ice before too.

I've got some spare gear to toss in for a White Elephant, but it's no fun unless several people are involved.

I might be up for some ice as well and hoping I could tag along. What time are potential ice climbers thinking of meeting up?

I talked to the Hornet and they said they should be able to accommodate us but that it would probably be busy. If lots of folks want to ice climb, the Spot in Golden would probably be a better bet.

I'm not feeling well at all so I probably won't be able to go no matter where it is unless I really improve in a hurry.

Would prefer Denver vs Golden.

The ice was ok looking this weekend in CCC. I have a feeling that by the time our beer night arrives it may not be as good. Tomorrow is going to be warm.

@Tony: Yes, it is an early event so i figured the party could then move to the Spot. The beer has ranged from the Golden City Brewery to other local brews and wine.
