Some kid back in the 80's. Would this be contributing to the deliquency of a minor??

Late 70s/early 80s; a criminal mind at such an young age .. Why didn't my s-dad make me play second base??

I think Allen & Grossman are just now coming up on the side of me

The camera hadn't been invented yet when I began climbing.
Here is an artists rendering of me pulling down at Castlewood.

Cool idea for a thread. Since I've only been climbing about 5 years, I don't have any rad pics of neon spandex or tube socks, so I'll post one of my son (now 7) on his first lead in Penitente Canyon, June '07.

My boy's first lead at age 4!

I think this thread got lost for the last year or so. It's missing the 70's halter top girls who were out climbing back then. Think I can find one of those shots to post up later. Meanwhile, here's a 70's shot with goldline rope and heavy mountain boots for rock climbing.

Goldline and heavy boots.

John Bachar didn't have Fire's commercially available in the US till 1984. They were around before then, but just not very easy to get. Remember, no REI's and all that back then.

Oh yeah,
