Some kid back in the 80's. Would this be contributing to the deliquency of a minor??
Late 70s/early 80s; a criminal mind at such an young age .. Why didn't my s-dad make me play second base?? I think Allen & Grossman are just now coming up on the side of me |

The camera hadn't been invented yet when I began climbing. |

Christmas card photo for 1983, taken on a nice 5.10 dyno roof move. Santa rocked that day. |

Cool idea for a thread. Since I've only been climbing about 5 years, I don't have any rad pics of neon spandex or tube socks, so I'll post one of my son (now 7) on his first lead in Penitente Canyon, June '07. |

Buff, you have motivated me to scan some vintage Ocelot slides tonight. |

Any more earliest pics out there ?? |

I think this thread got lost for the last year or so. It's missing the 70's halter top girls who were out climbing back then. Think I can find one of those shots to post up later. Meanwhile, here's a 70's shot with goldline rope and heavy mountain boots for rock climbing. |

They were around before then, but just not very easy to get. Remember, no REI's and all that back then. Oh yeah, --- Invalid image id: 107076865 --- |
