weather sucks this weekend... where you climbing

I think it might be a weekend of knocking dust off the crash pad and hittin some of the bouldering areas around town if its going to be that cold and dreary...

Where is everyone else goin? Shelf? Western Slope?

umm...it's supposed to rain/snow all weekend. Don't think any boulders are going to be dry.

i checked grand junction, the springs, shelf, vedauwoo, and moab, and all have a pretty good chance of rain or snow. I unfortunately have to agree that this looks like a gym climbing weekend.

I don't have a gym pass, so I guess I'll be climbing around inside my mind this whole weekend...

Anyone have an interest in going to the Art Museum?

climb ice!

ice climbing is an activity similar to climbing rock, but it takes a special kind of personal that is a) mentally imbalanced and b) monetarily capable of affording the equipment necessary to climb water in it's frozen state...

Most rock climbers are smart enough to not ice climb - but for those of us dumb enough, it truly is self loathing at it's finest.

So impression"ism" which lead to the movement of artists outside of the studio and some of the greatest natural paintings which lead to post impression"ism" which is at the root of pop art were merely fads - easily disposable and nothing even noteworthy...

Dada was just a bunch of commie pigs who painted and decided that their point of view was better than everyone else's - bucking tradition - like they were the first to rebel against conventionalism...

And - Gimme that topo Buff - I won't tell anyone how to get to that "secret" crag!
