LOST Longs Peak Diamond Broadway HELP!

Help! Yesterday (8/28/09) we rapped in from chasm view and left our packs on Broadway. After the route, my pack was missing and it appears that Marmots dragged it off of broadway and sent it careening down the crack of delight area! I am missing the following:

Blue Granite Gear Pack
Red Marmot sleeping bag in red stuff sack
Yellow Dana Designs shelter
Leki Trekking Pole
Other misc. stuff

We searched for quite awhile down on Mills and could not find more than a couple of random items. Please call Aaron at 970-596-9041 if you have any ideas or saw the incident. My HUGE apologies if anybody was hit by anything.

Update:
Rumor has it that my pack fell into the Mills Glacier Bergshrund below field's chimney. If anybody up there doing the crack of delight rappels this week could take a quick peek in the deep dark hole and let me know if you see anything that would be SO GREAT! I can't hike back up there for at least a week due to work.

That scared this shizz out of me. It looked like a body rolling at first. I was not near the glacier when it tumbled but word of mouth was that most of it ended up under the glacier. Sorry bout the loss of gear.

Aaron,
I have seen that happen on two other occasions, fortunately not to me. That big ol papa marmot livin on Broadway is a jerk, and likes to screw with climbers. Sorry for your loss, I hope some stuff is found for you. Your best bet if you go back is to hang your pack from the sling in the Broadway Bivy. Glad you didn't loose your approach shoes, I've heard of that happening too.

An even safer bet than hanging gear is to bury it under a stack of rocks, sometimes the ravens will open zippers then the marmots will do the rest of the dirty deed even if your gear is hanging. Crazy symbiotic relationship, and you feel pretty helpless watching it happening while you are a couple hundred feet up.

That's a drag - did you end up doing Pervertical?

Retrieved your gear from the schrund, give me a call.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
