Gender doesn't matter, but friendly attitude does. Please see my original Partners post: |

What are the Tucson climbing dudes...a bunch of wallflowers? |
|

Brigette, I'd go but am playing in Tonto Creek this weekend. Some lame folks out there not responding to you. Have fun at Jacks this weekend. |

Shawn Mitchell wrote:What are the Tucson climbing dudes...a bunch of wallflowers? Shawn: Lol. Totally! What's a *single* girl gotta do to get a guy to climb with her. ;) |
|
|
Bill: Thanks! And, thanks for your comment about the girls - I think they're pretty darn adorable, too. |

Brigette, I'll let you know on Thurs. morning if I can get down there and climb. I have a trip planned for Yosemite, but am not feeling like I want to aid climb for 4 days. If you need any references about my friendly atitude feel free to contact Jay Knower site administator for a section in the east and mid west. We can talk details if I can commit. |

Matt is a nice guy, but he does have commitment issues.....just to let you know.... |

susan peplow wrote:Brigette writes, "Shawn: Lol. Totally! What's a *single* girl gotta do to get a guy to climb with her. ;)" Just another example of a recent topic. Not enough women climbers that actually want to climb and men... well they come with a stack of their own issues. Oooh so hard to sometimes find a partner. Interesting read on SuperTopo although it will likely give you nothing more than "been there, done that" for advice. Good luck, Susan Susan: |

I will likely be staying local this weekend as I just returned from Horseshoe Canyon Ranch in Arkansas. That said you are welcome to join me and a loose crew of local climbers any time. The more the merrier... |

Good luck. The only person I knew that lived in AZ moved back to Colorado. |

mattso wrote: Exactly the reason I didn't use Ron as a refference. To be fair..... if you get Matt to the crag your golden (well, keep him away from your tent fly). Its the challenge of getting him there that I am talking about. |

Ron: Thanks for the cautionary note, but I don't even own a tent, so I'm all good, right? |
|
|
Hendrixson: Thanks for the offer, but I've been climbing at Lemmon or Cochise 9 out of 10 weekends all winter/spring. Must. Leave. Town. |
