Need Partners: Ft. Collins/routes/evenings&weekends

After a few years of neglect I'm making climbing a priority in my life again but I have one problem: all of my old partners have either moved or quit climbing. I live in Ft. Collins and really want to get out more to climb routes (trad or sport) in the evenings (mainly Poudre Canyon) and on weekends (wherever). I'm motivated, have plenty of gear, a good attitude, and I'll drive. I'm not at all concerned about how hard you climb, just 3 factors of importance: you know what you are doing or want to learn (not an idiot), you are generally pleasant to be around (not an ass), and have at least some ambition (everyone has their moments, just not excessively lazy). I'm also happily married so if you are female you don't need to worry about me hitting on you.

Thanks to everyone that has replied! I've heard from enough people that I thought it might make sense to arrange a rendevous up at Rotary on Monday evening next week (4/27). To those interested lets meet at the fee station in the parking lot at 5:30 - hopefully we'll all leave with more good people to climb with. If the weather ends up crap I'll post another message Monday.
Cheers!

I'm in for Thursday. I'll be done with work before noon and will probably head up to find a boulder or two. My number is 970-397-0129, and I will bring my rope in case anyone wants to set a TR.

Trying it again tonight - Rotary fee station at 5:30 unless it's raining.

Hey all, I'm trying to get my rock season off the ground as well. Looking for (more) partners, etc. and so on.

Where exactly is this "Rotary Fee Station" area? I am not yet familiar w/ the climbing areas in Ft. Collins (even though I live here). Hopefully I can figure it out before 530pm.
Cheers

Good session last night - thanks for coming out! Now if these rainy weekends would go away we could actually get on some routes.

Maybe someday I'll be strong enough to be allowed to climb at rifle :)

Don't worry Seth, mortals like us are now permitted to climb there after dark. Regulators see the change as a win-win solution - good for us because only our belayers know we hung on every bolt, and good for "them" because they don't have to watch aid climbing while they rest up for their "proj"!

I have a soccer game tonight but I like the beer night idea - I'm in. Also, I have tomorrow off if anyone wants to get out to climb some routes. I'm down for climbing in Clear Creek, the Poudre, or anywhere inbetween - I can drive. The forecast looks good, let me know!

Beer sounds tasty.

I might have to work tomorrow. Otherwise, it would be fun to check out Clear Creek.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
