best boulder problem in NH
|
|
The title is fairly self explanatory but I was just curious what is everyone's favorite boulder problem in NH, doesn't have to be the hardest one you have climbed, just your favorite, the one you enjoy the most... |

my personal favorite is Zig-Zag Crack |
|
|
General Lee V3 |

Pound Crack, Black Jack crack for those sick enough to consider it a boulder problem. That probably reveals my preference for trad climbing over bouldering, but those routes are fun for what they is :P |

Dopeman
is my personal fave (at the moment). |

Has anyone bouldered at the south bound rest area on 93 in Sanbornton? I climbed these in the mid 90's. One is quite large with a very thin face to a nice roof. Probably V6ish. Very cool. |

Nearly all my favorite problems are outside of Pawtuckaway and Rumney and include every problem on the boulders below Square Ledge in Pinkham Notch, and the hard overhang on the Glen Boulder on Mt. Washington. In general there are some great lines above treeline in the N. Presidentials that are made even more classic by the setting. |

Very cool. I climbed here recently. Surprisingly great bouldering with superb rock quality. I tried that thin face to roof. I didn’t want to commit to the roof but damn that’s a proud line. Slab up to the roof is like V4. On the same boulder, on almost the exact opposite side, there is a short face with inspiring ripple edges. Was able to put together a great line on it. I would love any other info you have of the area. |
