A few years ago we got a bunch of midwestern climbers together for a day of hard climbing on the summer solstice followed by some good ol' wisconsin grillin' and swillin', and I got the idea to get it going again this year since I will be living back in the midwest. So for this year anyone who would like to join up and add a pad or a rope and bring some neck oil and food to share is welcome. It's always sweet to climb with a bunch of new and old friends and finish the day with a bbq and big ass fire. Usually we come up with some moderately contrived idea for the day, like only leads, a certain bouldering cicuit(south bluff bouldering areas linked would be cool), etc. Anyone in?

Surely you can count me in. You have my info, so I think we're good.

Hey, I just moved back to the midwest (Chicago area) and I am looking for some trad partners. Where will you be climbing? I might be in....

Yeah that sounds like a good time! If you get some more feedback post another thread with the specifics...

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
