Hans and Yuji destroyed their own speed record for the Nose of El cap on Sunday Oct 12, dropping the time from 2:43:33 to 2:37:05!! Over 6 minutes faster! Ridiculous!! Slightly more information on Hans' site, speedclimb.com. Congrats Hans and Yuji!!!

True. And if he doesn't, it's for the same reason. In fact, I bet the only reason Jimmy hasn't attempted to absolutely destroy the Nose record is because he was aware of the magnitude of permanent damage he would inflict on the rock as he crushed. That's pretty cool of him.
