Nose Speed Record Smashed! 2:37:05

Hans and Yuji destroyed their own speed record for the Nose of El cap on Sunday Oct 12, dropping the time from 2:43:33 to 2:37:05!! Over 6 minutes faster! Ridiculous!!

I'd heard that it would've been sub 2-hrs. but that someone had stolen all their pre-hung draws off the route. They lost some time there.

Actually it would have been sub 2 hours if they hadn't been forced to wear their shirts.

The only reason this record is above 2 hours is because Jimmy Dunn has allowed to be as such.

True. And if he doesn't, it's for the same reason.

In fact, I bet the only reason Jimmy hasn't attempted to absolutely destroy the Nose record is because he was aware of the magnitude of permanent damage he would inflict on the rock as he crushed. That's pretty cool of him.
