I've gotten up in LCC a few times already this spring but haven't even tried going up big cottonwood yet.

Since most of the climbing is a little farther up canyon than in little, it might still be snowy... but I thought I would see if any of you guys have tried.

Haven't climbed there but I went up yesterday to check it out. The lower south facing walls which see a lot of sun are climbable i.e. Aquaworld and Aquaduct. Other similar walls with good sun exposure could be an option too but I didn't look.

I hiked to Lower S-curve. The trail still has snow and water is dripping off the wall in many places. The rock was warm, but the water limits you to a few routes.

you should know the bumble bee wall has been intermittently climbable for a month. As has Psychobabble, Aquaworld and the Aquaduct. When Pete's rock is dry, so is Aquaworld - on cold days too. That helps the psych a lot for me - hope it does for you too. routes don't get named 'february summer' for nothing.

hope that helps.

I climbed at the S-curve the other weekend. Still a little wet, but a couple routes are climbable.

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
