Late notice but I have most of the day free tomorrow and no partner. Could leave Colorado Springs at 10am. Happy to drive. I think the weather is looking okay. Thanks! Tracy

Hi PPD,
Love the name. Teach the fruitbat to fly up and retrieve bail biners and you can earn enough cash to buy him/her some nice tropical fruits, even out of season. Me and the boys are climbing Shelf on Sat if you want to join us. Just a bunch of 40-somethings living as large as we can. Leaving Denver about 5:30 am - Yikes!

Tracy,
Sure thing, consider it a rain check!

I love YOUR profile picture!! You look hot.

Jeff,
Bail biner??? Was ist das???

I have never used one so I can only describe a bail biner as they have been described to me. Its when you are in deeper than you maybe should be and you can't complete the route, so you hang a bail (cara)biner, clip it and lower off, and leave the biner for someone of better ability to climb up and snag. Or did you actually know the answer but were saying "what is that" as though you would never ever have to bail off of anything. Kewl! I hate when sarcasm goes right over my big ol' head.

Sure thing sista from anotha mista!

P.S. We'll be out there on Sunday if you want to join us. We have 2 strong-ish leaders, a strong prego climber and someone just getting into climbing. Should be a nice time.

Tracy, are you interested in climbing at Shelf or elsewhere this weekend? I am available Sat., Sun., and Mon. Claire

Hi Claire,
Thanks for writing! I am free tomorrow and would love to get out. I am nursing an elbow injury and haven't been climbing to much lately, but I can do 9's and 10easy's at Shelf. I'd love to climb at CCC, but have never been. Looks like lots of great mods there but those cliffs seem to be in the afternoon shade. Weather says high 49 and 10 to 20 winds tomorrow. Can anyone say how 'comfortable' this will be there?

I'll be off the computer for the rest of the day but I'll contact you tonight Claire!

Tracy R, where are you climbing this weekend...I still want to meet up with you..

Best,
Tracy M

Hey Tracy and Claire! I have my boys this weekend so I'mjust going to take them either to the Garden of the Gods or Table Mountain on Sunday. If either of you are interested in joining, drop me an E-mail and I'll give you my tele. I'm heading to Vegas next week but will be looking to get out again the weekend of the 24th. Maybe we can hit Shelf then?

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
