I am curious. What is the value on a Chouinard laminated bamboo 70cm piolet that is in good condition?
I still have mine and would never part with it, but I am curious.

That's pretty short, maybe you meant 70cm. Also, isn't it 'piolet'?

Tom...a recent auction on Ebay fetched close to 6 hundo for the pair...unused. whoa.

Not that it is a market standard...but...I guess when you gotta have it, you gotta have it.

Thanks folks.

Jonas - Correct. 70cm piolet

Tea - Wow, I bought mine back in the seventies for $75.00, which was a lot back then.

Now, if that were used by Tom Horbein...priceless!

Guideline #1: Don't be a jerk.
