Weekday evening ice?

Hey guys, I just went ice climbing for the first time yesterday. It seriously gave me the bug. So as of a couple hours ago, I totally set myself up. Nothing to lead with, but I got tools and crampons.

If anyone wants to do some headlamp climbing in clear creek canyon, with a super eager partner, PM me.

I have never led ice but I found that I can follow most things. I'm safe, belay well, am completely and abundantly filled with energy, and really want to play with my new tools.

I've been rock climbing for 10 years or so, lead fairly difficult trad, and am used to showing beginners a thing or two. So mechanically, I'm not a beginner, not even close. I just need to spend time on ice. I'll catch on fast.

I can be to the mouth of the canyon by 4:10 and would love to climb a few hours each night. As of right now, only weeknights work. Shit, we can even use my rope or my twins, if that sweetens the deal.

I'd go out with ya, but can't get to CCC on the weeknight eve's. The next few weeks I'm busy, but I'd take you in the higher terrain if you could get free mid-feb or so.

I'd be up for some clear creek or bouler canyon after work, or maybe even before. Did little eiger flows last sunday, they were way soft by 3:00. Let me know, pm me or call. same goes for anyone else. I just wanna get out. I've got screws btw

Weekday evening ice rules!!!
Just got back from boulder canyon. Did the two main flows behind castle rock, and one short vertical section in the middle. All under headlamp! Started around 7:00pm and got done around 10:30pm. I'm definitely up for some more, I'll go with Angry or anyone else who's interested. They were pretty wet, we might just have a couple more weeks of ice down here.
