Sunny, tranquil conglomerate sport climbing with easy access and many fun areas with climbs ranging from 5.9-5.13

Getting There

There are 3 sectors to climb in Sofia. Heading there via rental car or taxi. no public transportation. 30min ish. you can also hike from cueva milodon... see the trail clearly with Gaia gps.

The entrance of the the first 2 sectors is right at the gate with the big map sign for hikers. The third tortuga is the trail that starts at the end of the road by the beach.

1 sector: el queso. Take the 10 min hike to the left to a small set of walls....craved like a gruyere cheese. Pro is minimal but condorito wall is gold. Bolted anchors.

2: Pared Blanca (White Wall). Take right on the trail ...you'll see the huge white walls. Trad and Bolted. Well protected. This is where the mayority of the people concentrate. Avoid the afternoons.

3: Tortuga. Chill sector at the end of the wall towards the lake.....a few cool 5,8 and a few proyects. Best spot of Sofia.

60 meter rope, 14 quickdraws, 1 anchor.

1 standard rack with a couple extra 2-3.
