Description
The Mid South is the area of talus field midway up the talus and along the south side. The boulders in this area are more commonly smaller and the climbing is a bit more spread out. There do still exists some worthwhile climbs however.
Getting There
The Mid South consists of the rock along the south side of the talus field (right when looking uphill) in roughly the middle third of the talus field with respect to elevation. The Mid South can be accessed via either the Lower South by hiking directly uphill, the Mid North by hiking along the hillside, or the Lower North by hiking diagonally uphill and across the talus. Approach time is roughly 25 minutes
