Description
Beautifully located in Peggys Cove Village, this crag offers great climbing in the fall and winter and is a wonderful day crag. Lots to offer if a mix of sport and some trad lines that are great for beginners and a couple pull hard routes for the ones that want to go for it.
Getting There
As you drive along Highway 333 (Prospect Rd), past West Dover, you will see a sign indicating you are entering the Peggys Cove Preservation Area. In 2km, there is a guardrail on your right where the ocean meets the road. There is a small parking spot around here that can fit maybe 2 cars.
Walk back towards the direction you came and pop over the guard rail to get to the trail. You will see a small wooden ladder.
You should be able to see Bug City in the distance from the top of this ridge. (This is in the same region as the popular boulder, Corn and Bung)
Continue along the trail, left at first, then right at the fork straight towards Bug City.
You will see a large boulder called Memorial Boulder sticking up on the left and a small boulder on the trail to the right. Go right along the ridge in the direction of the cliff.
You will come to the 1st two climbs before you reach the main cliff.
To access the Main Cliff, scramble the gully left of the route Sinusoidal. From the top, walk right along the ridge and down through the scrub to get to the base of the Main Cliff.
