This north facing crag gets all day shade and massive exposure.. to the people who use the staircase to walk to work.

Getting There

Love Exasperator, but tired of the hike in to the Base of the Grand Wall? How about Tom Egan Memorial Route, but annoyed by that trek into the Bugs and by the fact that it doesn't exist anymore? Look no further! This 6 second approach to the crag will keep you planted firmly in downtown Nelson, where you'll find the best splitter ever climbed in a concrete retaining wall. Despite being called Chatham Street, the crag is actually located on Pine Street.
