Description Suggest change

  • It's a schnoz and a nob.  In December of 2024, while scouting for new routes, Kevin Connor and Kris Rhoads stumbled upon “The Schnob”. A foot of pristine moss at the top suggested that no one had been there before, or in a long, long time. Le Schnob as it was later deemed offers a quasi alpine feel just 15 minutes off the trail. So far one route that leads to a cool spot with a nice view

Getting There Suggest change

Hike approximately .65 miles east on the Palouse to Cascades trial from Hall Point Rock, or about 1.6 miles from the main deception parking area. You will see 2 pink flags on a small pine tree. Scramble up into the woods then head SW 10 minutes up the talus field. Scramble to the left to access to the top of the Schnob and the anchors.
