Expressions Wall Rock Climbing

Budget 50 minutes for approach.

From Canmore, take Three Sisters Parkway (742) to Goat Pond. This is about 10 minutes past the parking for Ha Ling. Park in the vicinity of the bridge crossing the canal (51.02371, -115.40108).

1. Walk west across the road/dike on the North (close) side of the Goat Pond (~10 minutes)
2. At the far side of the road, bear right onto the big bike trail, branch left off of this in less than 10 meters onto a faint trail. Watch for sun bleached flagging.
3. Follow the trail up the left side of the drainage (~5 minutes)
4. Follow the trail into the drainage and watch for an exit on your right into the bushy avalanche regrowth. Follow the trail up until you hit the end of the walkable drainage (~10 minutes)
5. Head right and more or less hug the cliff until arrive at the wall (~25 minutes). Miles et al. put a ton of work into protecting the easy but exposed slabs / ledges with chains and a few rungs. The chains offer some protection / security against what would be a very high consequence fall if you slipped, and they are very nice on decent if it's wet! You'll be deposited at 'Bench Area'
