Description Suggest change

The premier wall - mean off the ground, amazing water features up high, and the base is a good hang. Generally starts quite steep before the angle eases for the headwall. Stick clipping and a 70+ m rope are mandatory.

The left portion is a bit of a bowl which stays shaded until mid-afternoon; it's approximately the same aspect as The Far East.
The right portion gets sun in the early afternoon.

Conditions can be quite good even in the sun as Cloud Break gets more wind than many other crags in the Bow Valley. If it's 15 C with a 100 kph, screaming dry wind, it's time to get on your project.

Getting There Suggest change

Walk along the cliff and follow the trail as it goes down past Pipeline. Cross the mostly treeless drainage (mind overhead hazard from ice) and wrap around the small amphitheater. Continue for another minute or so until the blue streaked wall comes into view.
