Description

Sortais Boulder is a great boulder with very interesting hand holds and varying crimps, and it holds a handful of problems with plenty of others waiting to be named just lying around up there. I wouldn't be surprised to see this area get more attention.

Getting There

Finding this is not too hard. As you are walking up the FS road, you will see the prominent cliff band on your left. It's not to large but is definitely noticable. The hike is about 15 minutes from the parking lot. Follow the band for about 100 feet, and you will see 2 more prominent boulders pretty quickly. Sortais is the one farther downhill.
