Description Suggest change

North facing, lower angle face with four distinct lines (plus many variations) and anchors in the WI3 to WI4 range. On the far left side/corner it is potentially possible (depending on conditions) to climb a pillar/curtain in the WI5 range (also with the potential for some hard mixed climbing).  The routes are generally around 45-65' long.

Getting There Suggest change

From the parking area head upstream to under the big bridge. Continue further South then follow the stream as it contours right, then slightly left again. After roughly 150' from the bridge, the Highvoltagewandl is visible head-on up on the left side of the canyon. Look for a relatively short, low angle, smooth face with a distinct overhanging lip/corner on its left/East side and a small rocky outcrop and small tree in its upper left center.  There’s also the electrical ‘tower’ which can be seen from farther away.  Scramble up to the base to belay (we found the far left side to be least exposed to ice from other climbers in the area).
