Access Issue: The crag is on private land Details

The landowner graciously allows climbing, but his house is directly across from the cliff. Any sounds at the cliff echo quite a lot and result in a lot of noise pollution for him. He asks climbers to please keep it respectfully quiet. (in his words: screaming once when you fall or try hard is fine, but please leave it at that and try not to shout across the cliff or up at your partner unless absolutely necessary) Dogs also aren't allowed.

Description

An awesome, albeit slightly hammered crag for 7c and up with a very short approach. Nice and shady basically all day in winter with afternoon sun the rest of the year. Some of the base areas are mega-dusty.

Getting There

From the old Refuge drive about 3k up a winding paved road. Shortly after the road crosses over a small ridge, look for a steep wall on the looker's right side of a small valley just as the road makes a sharp hairpin with a driveway. There's a small pullout on the right side of the driveway for parking. Walk up the driveway past a metal gate looking for an obvious climbers trail taking you steeply up to the wall above.
