Description
A beautiful "summit" in the Grand Canyon that is attainable as a day-hike or part of an extended canyon wandering.
Getting There
The most direct way from the South Rim is to hike down the South Kaibab Trail, cross the river, past Phantom Ranch and turn right onto the Clear Creek Trail. Continue up Clear Creek Trail until the obvious Redwall Notch and Zoroaster come in to view. Follow the drainage up to the notch (Redwall) and scramble to the saddle. This is the same approach to access Zoroaster, Hattan, Brahma, Demaray Point and Bradley Point. It is about a 27 mile roundtrip hike from the South Kaibab parking lot.
