Description
The Valser Tal (Valley) is an offshoot from the Wipptal, just South of Innsbruck. Easily accessible via A13 it offers a dozen climbing areas, the most prominent being the Stafflacher Wand at St. Jodok and smaller areas further up the valley.
Getting There
From Innsbruck take A13 (Brennerautobahn South toward Brenner/Bozen) to Matrei am Brenner. Exit the freeway and take 182 South toward Steinach am Brenner. Continue South toward Stafflach and turn left/East toward St. Jodok (the Northern end of Valser Tal and approach for the Stafflacher Wand).
