Description Suggest change

A short mountain with two 3-pitch climbs which begin on the West end of the mountain. The two pitches meet at a pair of anchors that are fairly close, but the left route actually then traverses right and continues up the south face, while the rightmost route continues directly up.

two raps with a 70m gets you down. Use the lower (more left) set of anchors to rap down on descent because the 70m is just enough to get you down. If you have a 60m or lower, then do 3 raps.

Technically this is just a remote area within the larger pigeon crag (not to be confused with the old pigeon wall, mountainproject.com/area/12… which is just a sub area of the larger pigeon crag. I'm sure as more routes are added and local guidebooks are perused, MP can be better consolidated).

Getting There Suggest change

Head toward the old pigeon wall and pass it (it'll be on your left). Continue following along the trail. At some point the trail keeps going forward, you'll see a branch off to the right coinciding with the end of a broken horizontal "short cliff" (see approach pics). Continuing on this trail, you'll see a set of stagnant pools along brown and black vertically striated rock. At the end of this, You'll see a short set of stone stair steps. The cliff as it turns out is visible right at the top of the stairs. From the top, carefully check the approach trail, it's easy to get lost but if you resort to bushwacking, consider heading back and looking for a more obvious trail.
