Access Issue: Some areas are on city property and other areas are on private property. Details

At this point (updated to October 2024) access to the sierra is not restricted, but the freedom to climb here lives in a tenuous balance. Fires are strictly prohibited and absolutely do not camp in the sierra (there is a paid camping area on Calle 32). Do not block access to gates if you park a car at an entry point, never damage fences, don't litter, and, overall, be respectful and maintain a low profile.
