Description Suggest change

This is the peak above Pearl Lake that has a striking west ridge, clearly visible on the approach to Cathedral Lake and Finger Peak.

The name apparently is eponymous to Pearl Lake, according to the register documented by Peaks for Freaks, but there is no official name on any USGS map, nor could we find a summit register (on either apparent summit candidate) when we were up there.

Getting There Suggest change

Approach to Blackcap Basin listed in the parent page-- leave from Maxson on trail or from Rancheria and head east cross country. 18-24 mile approach.
