Description Suggest change

While it's probably not worth a big drive, climbing at the Noli is super worth it if you're into adventure trad climbing and/or whitewater rafting. It makes for a great multisport adventure day! You can even extend your time out there by camping at a beautiful beach on the river about a third of the way down the rapids.

The main climbing is on Whitewater Buttress, but there are opportunities for bouldering on several sections of the river and potentially more roped climbing elsewhere.

Getting There Suggest change

Park at the Poplar River Access on the Nolichucky, then head downstream until you reach where you'd like to climb. Leaving your car there overnight is common practice among rafters and seems to be considered safe enough.
