Description Suggest change

Fuller Ridge Trail is a beautiful day hike with some of the nicest scenery around. The trail starts out on the northeast side of the ridge, looking across at the San Bernardino Mountains and ahead to the steep north face of San Jacinto. After a couple miles it switches to the west side of the ridge, with views of Black Mountain, Marion Mountain and the valleys below.
The trail is part of the PCT, and intersects with most of the other hiking trails in the Idyllwild area, so it is relatively popular with hikers.

Getting There Suggest change

Take the Black Mountain road a couple miles past Boulder Basin. The elevation at the trailhead is 7,750'.
