Description
There are some quality boulders scattered around the forest above Idyllwild, but finding them is a needle-in-haystack sort of exercise.
It's a long hike up there and the good ones are real spread out. If you want to get a lot of bouldering in, Black Mountain or the Tram are the places to go, for sure.
On the other hand, if you like to go hiking for its own sake, and might want to do a problem or two while you're out, then here you go.
