Description
Steep lichen covered wall that gets very little sun even in summer, home to raptors and hardened climbers. The lower third of the wall is called the Shark Fin and is separated from the upper two thirds by huge wooded ramp/gulley.
Getting There
For the bulk of the North Face approach from the campsites under the West Face to reach the wooded ramp between the upper section of the North Face section and the Shark Fin.
To reach Rocktology and Elephant Head North Approach start about a quarter mile north on FS 4073 from the guzzler or last cattle guard and cross country SE over the first hill to the main drainage under the North Face.
