Description

This area currently only has natural lines and has plenty of shade all day long. The far left of the crag is just below the Menagerie and the area extends west down the gully and around the corner to the South. The area mostly has easy to moderate climbing with the potential for a few more hard lines and scary lines to be put up.

Getting There

From the base of Goth Sloth, hike up climbers right past the open roof project. Use a tree to get up a ledge and climb the short easy off-width straight ahead. From there, spot the cairn that marks the entrance to the cave trail. Enter the cave and start hiking up until you can take a right. The trail turns right and descends out of the caves. Veer left avoiding catclaw while scrambling on the boulders until you can downclimb near another cairn. Continue on the trail past some bushes until you reach "The Power Within." From there, continue scrambling up some boulders until you reach the Menagerie. The trail continues around the base of Manky Mantle. Around the corner, downclimb on easy terrain and Shady's Cove will be in sight.
