Description
Chess-like strategy will be required to ascend this high quality limestone slab. West facing; morning shade, afternoon sun. We caught shade again around 5pm in September. Lower angle and slightly cleaner than the first slab - Hall of Hidden Kings. Grades could range from 5.6 to 5.11/12 slab. Moving right to left the wall gets steeper and less featured.
Bolting has been done with beginners in my mind. Friendly spacing on most routes. All routes are equipped with mussy hooks, lower offs, or ramshorns.
Getting There
Take the North Fork trail across the bridge and follow it for 5-10 minutes until the slabs appear on your right. Hall of Hidden Kings will take about 5 minutes, and another 5 minutes you will reach Queen’s Gambit. Some graffiti along the bottom will let you know you are at the correct wall.
