Description

Sethan. A magical land of unlimited boulders, and increasingly, an emerging rope-climbing scene.

The hydro-electric dam project created a road that opened up this small village to tourism. Climbers, skiers, trekkers, and sightseers have brought development to this village, which has led to increasing options for food/lodging, and also increased strain on the forest ecosystem. Please tread lightly, respect locals, and minimize your impact.

Getting There

From Delhi, take the overnight bus to Manali. From there it's a ~1 hour drive up a curved road to the village of Sethan.
