Description
A reasonably tall (75 to 85 foot) Quartzite wall with moderate grades; climbing. This north-west facing wall permits comfortable temperatures in the "shoulder season" mornings and early afternoon depending on the month. Most of the climbs were developed in 2022-2023.
Getting There
From the old ADOT yard head south to a small trail ~20 meters left of the main trail into the Gorge. Follow the path through the limestone boulders east to a small boulder field drop to a quartzite ledge that skirts the large wash (Spring Creek) to the south and west. The Lower Wall (previously known as Lower Exit Gorge wall) can be seen across the wash below the Upper Wall Proper. There is a weakness in the ledge below the wall that enables one to access the climbs.
