Description
South-facing slabby limestone wall. Mostly single pitch, some 2 pitch climbs. Generally well protected; some areas of shade; less crowded than other Verdon areas. Very pleasant.
About 25 routes; some are labelled on the wall. Note that some route names do not agree between what is written on the wall and what is labelled in some common guidebooks.
Getting There
Closest parking is a small roadside pullout (space for a few cars) on south side of road near hairpin turn at GPS coordinates 43.817821, 6.24292 (see photo). From there, take trail on north side of road; you will quickly some to an intersection with a 4x4 road. Take the smaller trail uphill towards the cliff (note that if you go left on the 4x4, it will switch back and end up in the same place; turning right on the 4x4 takes you to the larger parking lot mentioned below). Keep following the obvious trail towards the cliff. There are some shortcuts, but all seem to end up in the same place. After about 10-15 minutes, you will arrive at the cliff. The easiest way to orient yourself is to look for the climb "La Cerise" labelled on the wall across from a shady tree.
If needed, there is a larger lot called Felines parking, which is farther away. Note that if you park there, do NOT follow the signs to Bois Felines, this is not the climbing wall. Instead, cross the road to the trail and head west (left) at the first intersection. This takes you back to the hairpin area after about 1 km. From there, turn right on the uphill trail.
