Description
Sector Cyclops Cave is 450 meter long by 100+ meters tall wall of beautiful limestone. It is highlighted by a massive cave in the middle portion of the sector. The wall is primarily north facing and only catches a little bit of afternoon sun. As of 2022 there are 65 pitches with grades that range from 5c to 8b+ with a handfull of open projects. The climbing style is generally varied with most of the routes being short and well protected. The climbing season is best during the warmer times of the year (spring summer, fall). Crowds are few and far between but this may change as popularity increases. Bring an extra layer as the sector often had a breeze cooling things down when we were visiting
Getting There
Approach time 15 - 20 min
From the cemetery parking walk uphill and through the small village. After cresting the ridge where the dirt road ends you will continue past sector lasagna on a walking path that wraps around to the north facing aspect. Here you will encounter this impressive wall.
