Description Suggest change

Perched between Upper and Lower Slide Lakes sits several beautiful crags waiting for your next adventure. There are dozens of well-protected, single pitch routes all featuring beautiful, hard, glacier rubbed stone. It is more of a great addition to an awesome backpacking trip than an alpine climb. One could call it alpine toproping. There are routes anywhere from 5.8 to 5.11+. I assume most these crags have seen little to no climber activity. There is definite potential for first ascents.

Getting There Suggest change

This entails a 2-6 hour approach depending on your style. Hike on the well-marked trail past Rainbow Lakes and up to Lower Slide Lake. We climbed these walls over a period of two and a half days with a base camp at Lower Slide Lake.
