Description

The wall below midnight spire. Named after the Banana Slugs that call the roof home.

This wall starts off vertical to overhung and then after 20ft becomes lower angle to the top. Similar to sunny side, except steeper.

The top can be accessed by walking around and up to the left, however most of the anchors are better accessed by leading the routes.

12 quick draws is all you need for this wall.

** A HUGE tree recently fell at the base of this wall creating a lot of sticks on the trail. Nothing major but be careful.

Getting There

The best approach is to take the trail up to p-wall and then ~100ft before hitting the toe of pwall follow the climbers trail left. (There is a large boulder and tree where you turn left, this is where a large log used to block the pwall trail).

An alternative approach is to climb the first two pitches of the tecate and then walk right along hallucinogen wall (the wall behind owls perch) until you run into slug wall.
