Description

Tauplitz is an alpine plateau in the middle of Austria. It is easy accessible via a toll road or a chair lift. Numerous scenic hikes start from the parking lot. The most famous of wich loops around six alpine lakes. In addition to climbing a via ferrata is also located there and in winter tprepared slopes and lift access keep you occupied on your skis.

Getting There

Take A9 until the exit Liezen, follow B320 and then B145 towards Tauplitz/Bad Mitterndorf. Either follow signs towards the valley station of the chair lift or the toll road up to Tauplitzalm.
