Description
A small compact outcrop of good quality granite that is in the shade most of the day. The routes are short 8m approx but they do pack a punch and provide a quiet venue away from the regular foot traffic at Hillside Dams.
Getting There
From the regular car park area walk towards the Upper Hillside Dam passing the Amphitheatre. At the Dam keep to your right and follow a winding path that leads you along the extended reservoir until it finishes. The path then leads you along a wide but shallow gully and after 10-15 minutes you will reach the end of the shallow gully where the ground levels off in all directions and at this point ZESA Buttress is to your right on the corner of a broken escarpment.
