Description

Sector Tirol is a 40 meter long by 60 meter tall portion of the south-facing wall at Karrer Klettergarten. As of 2022 this area host 7 routes with three of them being two pitches long. The grades are mostly in the 5th and 6th range (french). This entire wall is south facing and the climbing style is generally less than vertical gray rock.

Getting There

Sector Tirol 17 min

From the left corner of the parking lot follow a trail of steep switchbacks that trend left past to avalanche barricades. Märchenwald is the left most sector at the cliff. Walk uphill 100 meters along the base of the cliff until you reach a small nameplate bolted to the base of the wall that reads Tirol.
