Description

Seen from the road, this is the formation just left of Upper Rock. Routes primarily face south and west. Most of the routes in this location have been added since the last edition of Central Montana Rock.

Getting There

The most direct approach is via the Devil’s Thumb parking area. Begin walking on the northeast bound two track. When the two track curves sharply away from the crags, head into the woods. Ascend the hill for about 20-30 minutes. The distance isn’t great but the uphill pace is unrelenting.
