Description Suggest change

The different rocks in this area are all within mm 257 on US 50. Better known as BigHorn Sheep Canyon. The approaches are from one minute to thirty minutes long. The rock is granite & we have yet to find any bad rock.

Getting There Suggest change

Take US 50 west out of Cañon City past the Royal Gorge & to mile marker 257. The rocks are all on the left side of the road away from the river.
