Description Suggest change

About a dozen climbable boulders on a slight hill, scattered around a square half mile.

These are some decent boulders visible from I-691 on the north side of the highway just before the pedestrian bridge of hubbard park.

There are about 12 good boulders in this area, some smallish and some highball. The rock is traprock and the holds are big diamond shaped traprock on the ends of the boulders, and a more smeary, textured surface on the faces/backs of the boulders. Someone else has climbed here as I found chalk on some of the more obvious lines. There are some genuinely fun problems here, be sure to check it out.

Getting There Suggest change

See trail map attached to this area. Park in the big, main parking area at Hubbard, and you can take the left road that goes under the highway. There's a trail head on the left, soon after going under the highway. That trail goes up a brief steep part and then through the "Halfway House" and then if you keep going straight then you soon reach an intersection with the yellow trail. At this point you can go off-trail to the northeast and you will start to see the boulders.

There are other ways to get there, if you want to avoid the steep part. It's basically just south/southeast of the tower, which should be marked in most maps.
